Israeli Brisket

Ingredients :


4lbbeef brisket
1lrgonion, sliced
1tspsalt
1tblflour
1cuporange juice
1/2cupsweet Concord Passover wine
1/4tsppepper




Method :
  • Brown meat in Dutch oven or heavy roasting pan.. If meat is very lean, use a little oil to brown. Add sliced onion and brown. Sprinkle salt, pepper andflour onto meat. Add orange juice and wine to pan.
  • Cover and roast at 350 degrees for about 3 hours or until tender or cook on stove over medium heat for same length of time.
  • Serves 8-10.
